This ball mount will use the larger 3/4" hitch pin # 58388 that you mentioned you have, however this ball mount is designed to fit into 3" x 3" trailer hitch receivers.

The # 306-X7904 is not listed as a fit for an F-550 at all but we've confirmed it on our site because F-350 owners were trying it and it fit. Most likely it could fit but no one has attempted it yet.
